Spike's stainless steel ball valve with a 1/2" diameter screws directly into their brew kettles, eliminating the need for an extra nipple, unlike other valves from competitors. This valve has a male end that can be easily screwed into your kettle, and a female end that accepts a 1/2" barb or other 1/2" fitting. The 3-piece valve can be fully disassembled, making cleaning easy.
