Ss Brewtech Weldless Thermowell - 4"

The thermowell is a cylindrical tool that is installed into a drilled hole in your kettle, where its probe section immerses into the wort. Its key role is to measure the temperature of the wort reliably and safely, preventing the thermometer from being directly exposed to high heat, which could cause damage.

The thermowell's wall, made from stainless steel, acclimates to the wort's temperature, allowing the gauge inserted within to provide an accurate reading. This particular thermowell has a total length of 5 1/4", reaching 4 " into the wort, and fits snugly into a 17mm kettle port. It shows the greatest compatibility with smaller sensors, such as Brewtech's digital LCD sensor.
