This fitting is a 90-degree Screwlock Elbow Reducer made of food-grade plastic. It is ideal for reducing the size of your push-in fittings from 5/16" to 1/4" tubing.
Screwlock fittings offer a more robust connection compared to traditional push-in fittings, thanks to their compression adaptation. The screwlock connection of this fitting is compatible with 1/4" OD (6.35mm) tubing.
Duotight fittings are designed to work simply by inserting the compatible tubing. Inside each fitting, there are dual EPDM o-rings that provide superior sealing capacity. These o-rings have twice the sealing surface area compared to other push-in fittings, making them highly reliable and significantly reducing the risk of leaks.
To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to cut the tubing straight rather than at an angle. This helps achieve a complete seal.
Designed for use with 1/4" OD (6.35mm) and 5/16" OD (8mm) Polyethylene Tubing.
