London Ale Yeast - WLP 013

WLP013 London Yeast is an excellent strain for brewing British Milds, Brown Ales, Stouts, Porters, as well as ESBs and IPAs. It finishes fairly dry, all the while retaining an interesting malty flavour, especially when a complex grain bill is employed, while also adding the peculiar oaky notes that work so well in dark beers.

When brewing hop-forward ales, WLP013 lets the hop character come through nicely, which has earned it a popular position among professional brewers who use it for IPAs and Pale Ales.
