This two-piece S-type airlock is designed to prevent any backflow into your fermenter. Sometimes also called a "Bubbler," it creates a pocket of liquid that allows CO2 to escape from your fermenter without allowing oxygen, bacteria, or critters, back in, keeping your beer clean. It fits a standard drilled stopper.
