The garden hose plate chiller easily hooks up to your garden hose and faucet to rapidly cool your wort from 200°F to 70°F - the perfect temperature for most yeast varieties to start fermentation. This will also improve the clarity of the beer, especially if you're making a pilsner.

This unit features integrated male and female garden hose ports, as well as two integrated 1/2" barbed ports that are compatible with 1/2" ID tubing.
